Disney announces park operational changes at Hollywood Studios and Hong Kong Disneyland

Disney is implementing operational changes across its theme parks. At Walt Disney World’s Hollywood Studios, the attraction ‘Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance’ has been added to the lineup for Extended Evening Hours. This benefit allows guests staying at eligible Disney Deluxe and Deluxe Villa Resorts to access select attractions for up to two hours after the park closes to the general public. Scheduled Extended Evening Hours for Hollywood Studios are set for October 14 and October 28, 2026.

Meanwhile, Hong Kong Disneyland has announced temporary restrictions for the weekend of October 10 and October 11. Due to a private event, Toy Story Land, Mystic Point, and Grizzly Gulch will close early at 6:30 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday. This early closure will prevent guests from accessing several popular attractions, including Mystic Manor and Big Grizzly Mountain Runaway Mine Coaster, during the final hours of the park’s operation.
