Disney+ announces return of Soy Luna series

Disney+ has announced the return of the cult series Soy Luna with a new production titled ‘Soy Luna: De retour sur la piste’. The new series, consisting of twelve exclusive episodes, is scheduled for release on October 21.

Returning cast members include Karol Sevilla in the lead role of Luna, alongside Michael Ronda, Ruggero Pasquarelli, Carolina Kopelioff, Malena Ratner, and Gastón Vietto. The plot follows Luna as she returns to the Jam & Roller, attempting to regain her confidence following an accident that kept her away from skating, while also facing a mysterious adversary and romantic dilemmas.

Produced by Metrovisión and directed by Martín Sabán, the series aims to bridge the gap between original fans and a new generation. The production is accompanied by a new soundtrack, ‘Soy Luna: Volver a Rodar’, which features both new and revisited songs.
