Disney+ announces second season of Coppola series

Disney+ has announced the release date for the second season of the comedy-drama series “Coppola, el representante,” scheduled to premiere on October 23. The series stars Juan Minujín as Guillermo Coppola, the agent of one of football’s most famous players.

The new episodes explore various anecdotes from Coppola’s life, characterized by success, excess, and glamour. The narrative follows Coppola as he reflects on his career, from joining his most famous client in 1984 through periods of loss and reconstruction. The trailer features scenes including Coppola at the grave and wake of Diego Maradona.

The production is created by Mariano Cohn and Gastón Duprat, directed by Ariel Winograd, and written by Emanuel Diez. The cast includes Juan Minujín, Mónica Antonópulos, Macarena Achaga, Jorgelina Aruzzi, and others.
