Disney announces Zootopia 3 following record-breaking sequel success

Disney has announced that a third installment of the Zootopia franchise is in development. The announcement was made during the D23 event held in Anaheim, California.

Following the massive commercial success of Zootopia 2, which earned $1.8 billion at the global box office to become the highest-grossing Hollywood animated film of all time, the new film will continue the adventures of characters like Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde. Ke Huy Quan is set to reprise his role as Gary De’Snake. While specific plot details remain confidential, the upcoming film is expected to focus on birds within the animal metropolis.
