Disney California Adventure to debut new Coco ride and food kiosk

Disney has shared new details regarding an upcoming attraction based on Pixar Animation Studios’ “Coco” at Disney California Adventure. The ride, which will be a boat journey, is set to take place one year after the events of the original film. Guests will travel through Miguel’s memories of the Land of the Dead, accompanied by music and characters from the movie.

The attraction will be located near Pixar Pier and Paradise Gardens Park, with the queue beginning in Pixar Pier next to the Inside Out Emotional Whirlwind. Disney Experiences Chairman Josh D’Amaro originally announced the project during the 2024 D23 Expo.

Additionally, a new food and beverage kiosk named Bountiful Valley Brews is scheduled to open at Disney California Adventure later this year. The name serves as a callback to the former Bountiful Valley Farm area of the park, which was originally part of the park's 2001 debut before being redeveloped into other themed lands.
