Disney California Adventure's Avengers Campus faces fan criticism

Five years after its June 2021 debut, the Marvel-themed Avengers Campus at Disney California Adventure Park is facing significant criticism from some theme park enthusiasts. The land, which replaced A Bug’s Land, was designed as a training facility inspired by the Marvel Cinematic Universe, featuring attractions such as WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure and Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT!.

Despite the popularity of the Marvel franchise, some guests have expressed dissatisfaction, with some describing it as a destination that lacks sufficient activities. Critics have argued that the area feels more like a thoroughfare to other sections of the park, such as Cars Land, rather than a standalone destination.
