Disney celebrates Haunted Mansion Holiday 25th anniversary

Disneyland Resort is marking the 25th anniversary of Haunted Mansion Holiday, the seasonal overlay of the Haunted Mansion attraction inspired by The Nightmare Before Christmas. To commemorate the milestone, Disney has released various anniversary-themed items, including apparel, cards, and souvenirs.

As part of the celebration, Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar at the Disneyland Hotel has released a limited-edition Haunted Mansion Holiday 25th Anniversary Tiki Mug. Designed by Tim Wollweber, the $75 mug features Jack Skellington, Zero, and spooky elements in a themed box.

While the full holiday overlay is a staple at Disneyland, Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom version of the Haunted Mansion maintains subtle connections to the film through Easter eggs. Walt Disney Imagineering has noted that the attraction's library contains books referencing The Nightmare Before Christmas, including one featuring the story's title and another displaying an image of Jack Skellington.
