Disney celebrates Winnie the Pooh centennial with NYC event and new merchandise

Disney Publishing will host a Winnie the Pooh centennial celebration in New York City from October 9-11, 2026. The event will feature a takeover of Daily Provisions Manhattan West, located near the Javits Center, providing an immersive Hundred Acre Wood experience for fans, including those attending New York Comic Con.

The takeover will include themed decor, honey-inspired treats, and special coffee and pastry offerings. This event marks 100 years of the beloved character and stories.

Additionally, new Disney Parks bookshelf-themed merchandise has arrived at Walt Disney World. The collection, available at Disney Springs, includes a mug and a tumbler featuring illustrations of bookshelves filled with Disney iconography, such as a Winnie the Pooh “hunny” pot, a miniature Monorail, and a Dumbo planter.
