Disney Believe to debut in 2027 with Encanto musical and new themed experiences

Disney Cruise Line has unveiled details for its newest vessel, the Disney Believe, which is scheduled to begin its maiden voyage on December 18, 2027. The ship will be based at Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, operating four- and five-night itineraries to the Caribbean and the Bahamas, including stops at Disney’s private destinations, Castaway Cay and Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point.

The Disney Believe is the fourth ship in the Wish class and is part of a broader fleet expansion aimed at reaching 13 ships by late 2030. Key onboard features include the world’s first stage adaptation of the film ‘Encanto’ at the Walt Disney Theatre, featuring music by Lin-Manuel Miranda. Other entertainment highlights include a ‘Tangled: The Musical’ production and a ‘Zootopia’-themed venue called Gazelle.

Dining and themed spaces will include ‘Oaken’s Table: A Frozen Family Feast,’ a ‘Moana’-inspired Grand Hall, and a ‘Snow White’-themed Wishing Well. The ship will also feature a ‘Monsters, Inc.’-themed Oceaneer Club for children. General bookings for the new ship are set to open on October 19, 2026.
