Disney Cruise Line expands fleet with Disney Adventure and Disney Believe

The Walt Disney Company is expanding its maritime presence with the launch of the Disney Adventure, a 6,000-passenger vessel homeported in Singapore. The ship represents a significant financial undertaking; Disney acquired the partially completed hull, originally known as the Global Dream, for approximately $40 million in 2022 before investing an additional $1.76 billion to retrofit it for family-oriented experiences. This transformation included replacing casino-focused layouts with themed areas such as Marvel Landing and a Disney Castle.

Following the launch of the Disney Adventure, Disney Cruise Line is shifting focus to its next vessel, the Disney Believe. A livestream event scheduled for October 7, 2026, is expected to reveal specific details regarding the ship’s homeport, itineraries, and entertainment. The Disney Believe is the fourth ship in the Wish class and will feature themes inspired by franchises such as Frozen, Encanto, and Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.
