Disney Cruise Line hits construction milestone with Disney Believe float-out

Disney Cruise Line has reached a construction milestone with the first ‘gigablock’ float-out of its new ship, Disney Believe, at the Meyer-Werft shipyard in Papenburg, Germany. The gigablock, which includes the ship's midship and Grand Hall, is one of several massive sections that will be welded together to form the 144,000-ton vessel. The Disney Believe is the fourth ship in the Wish class and is expected to launch in late 2027, accommodating up to 4,000 passengers.

In related commercial news, Disney Cruise Line has expanded its Onboard Offer program. Guests with eligible placeholder reservations can now access savings of up to 25% on select sailings through September 2027. These discounts apply to various ships in the fleet, including the Disney Dream, Disney Wish, and Disney Treasure. Existing reservations that qualify for higher discounts will have the savings applied automatically.
