Disney+ delays release of Caldas. El último barco to December

The Disney+ premiere of the miniseries ‘Caldas. El último barco’ has been rescheduled from October 30 to December 2. The delay of over one month is attributed to a strategic calendar decision, moving the release to a high-consumption period during the December holiday window rather than the Halloween season.

Based on the novel by the late Domingo Villar, the six-episode production is set in Vigo and follows Inspector Leo Caldas, played by Javier Gutiérrez, and his partner Rafael Estévez, played by Hovik Keuchkerian. The plot centers on the disappearance of Mónica Andrade, an investigation that uncovers secrets hidden beneath a calm exterior.

The series is produced by Secuoya Studios and features a cast including Alejandra Onieva, María Pujalte, and Miryam Gallego.
