Disney Dreamers Academy expands to middle schoolers via Boys & Girls Clubs partnership

Walt Disney World is expanding its Disney Dreamers Academy through a new partnership with the Boys & Girls Clubs. Moving beyond its traditional model of hosting 100 high school students annually, the program is evolving into a year-round, multi-year experience designed to reach students at an earlier age.

A pilot program will launch in January 2027, focusing on middle school students in four metro areas: Orlando, Miami, Atlanta, and Houston. The initial class will consist of 200 students selected by participating Boys & Girls Clubs, with Houston expected to contribute 50 participants.

The expanded curriculum will include mentorship from Disney Cast Members, career exploration, and community service. Participants will engage in programming at their local clubs and will also visit the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida. The first group of students will be announced in October.
