Disney Dreamlight Valley announces Season of Scares update

Gameloft has announced the ‘Season of Scares’ major update for Disney Dreamlight Valley, scheduled to launch on September 23, 2026. The update features a six-week Halloween event centered around the character Oogie Boogie from Disney’s ‘The Nightmare Before Christmas’.

Players will participate in weekly challenges to unlock Oogie Boogie and the ghostly canine Zero. To access the event content, players must first unlock The Peaceful Meadow, Scrooge McDuck’s Store, and Chez Remy’s restaurant. The event period runs from September 23 until November 4, 2026.

In France, the update is expected to become available around 3:00 PM, though release times may vary across different platforms such as Nintendo Switch and Game Pass. The update also introduces the ‘Haunting Elegance Star Path’, which includes new festive attire and dark whimsical furniture for player customization.
