Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed announced for mobile and Switch 2

The remake of the 3D platformer Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed is expanding its availability with a mobile version and a release for the Nintendo Switch 2.

The mobile version allows players to navigate Wasteland, a realm for forgotten characters, using Mickey Mouse’s signature paintbrush to apply paint or thinner to alter the environment. This version includes updated movement skills such as dashing, sprinting, and ground pounding.

For the Nintendo Switch 2 release, scheduled for October 6, 2026, THQ Nordic has announced that current Switch owners will receive a free upgrade. The Switch 2 version is expected to feature higher resolution and improved framerates compared to the original console version, and save files will carry over. The game will be priced at $40, with both digital and physical Game-Key Card options available.
