Disney Expands Muppets Area at Hollywood Studios

Disney has begun construction near the Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets at Walt Disney World’s Hollywood Studios, enclosing nearby restrooms with planters and installing a custom directional sign. While the company describes the work as a refurbishment, its timing follows the coaster’s recent re‑theming and fuels speculation that Disney may further develop the Muppets‑themed land.

At the same time, Disney’s Hollywood Studios gift shop has started selling new Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Muppets merchandise, including a set of six stickers featuring the ride’s license plate and character motifs, and a tote bag illustrated with the attraction’s poster art. Both items are priced at $19.99 and are marketed as souvenirs for fans of the newly themed coaster.
