Disney implements new guest rules at Fort Wilderness Resort

Walt Disney World’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground has implemented new guest guidelines effective immediately. The updated “Campsite and Cabin Rules” document includes a new section titled “Guest-Initiated Activities.”

The new regulations prohibit the sale, advertisement, solicitation, or display of goods and services without prior written approval from the resort. Additionally, the rules strictly forbid providing bartending services or selling and serving alcohol to the public or other guests within the resort and campground.

These changes appear to target the informal social activities and community-driven atmosphere that have historically characterized the 750-acre wooded property. The resort, which opened in 1971, is known for its cabins, campsites, and nature-focused environment near Magic Kingdom.
