Disney+ launches final season of FX series “The Bear”

The fifth and final season of the Emmy‑winning FX drama “The Bear” has been released exclusively on Disney+. All eight episodes became available on June 25.

The storyline picks up after Sydney, Richie and Natalie discover that chef Carmy has left the restaurant, leaving the team to confront financial pressure, a looming sale and an impending storm while striving for a Michelin star. New characters such as Lionel Boyce, Liza Colón‑Zayas and Matty Matheson join the cast, with guest appearances by Ricky Staffieri, Oliver Platt, Will Poulter and Jamie Lee Curtis.

The series was created by Christopher Storer, who serves as executive producer alongside Josh Senior, Cooper Wehde, Tyson Bidner, Matty Matheson, Hiro Murai and René Gube. Disney+ promotes parental‑control features for family‑friendly viewing.
