Disney+ launches subscription promotion in Brazil

Disney+ has introduced a limited-time promotion in Brazil for new subscribers, offering reduced monthly rates for the first two months. The offer is valid for subscriptions made until November 2.

The promotional pricing includes: • Standard Plan with ads: R$ 9.90 per month (increasing to R$ 29.90 after two months). • Standard Plan without ads: R$ 17.90 per month (increasing to R$ 43.90 or R$ 33.99 on annual plans). • Premium Plan: R$ 19.90 per month (increasing to R$ 62.90 or R$ 48.99 on annual plans).

The Premium Plan provides access to ESPN channels and up to four simultaneous devices. Following the two-month discount period, subscriptions automatically renew at the standard prevailing rates.

This campaign aligns with Disney's broader strategy to increase engagement through live sports and local content. The company previously announced intentions to approximately triple its number of local original series over three years to attract international users and reduce churn.
