Toy Story 5 merchandise rollout in Japan ahead of July release
Disney and Pixar’s upcoming film Toy Story 5 is being promoted across Japan with a broad range of retail products. TOHO theater stores will sell more than 50 original items, including a blue‑eye lunch tote with moving feet, mini towels, a stainless‑steel tumbler, and a compact mirror featuring the characters. The merchandise will be available in theaters from the film’s opening on 3 July and online from 11 a.m. the same day.
The film is also featured in the August issue of Disney Fan, released 25 June, which highlights the movie, a special “Fan Time with Toy Story 5” event at Tokyo Disney Resort from 2 July to 14 September, and related giveaways. Disney Japan will launch a new Toy Story 5 collection at its flagship Tokyo store and online on 30 June, offering figurine sets, tote bags, backpacks, pins and other themed accessories.
These coordinated promotions aim to boost awareness and sales ahead of the nationwide theatrical debut.
