Disney Lorcana TCG announces Hyperia City expansion
Disney Lorcana TCG has announced its upcoming collection, Hyperia City, which introduces a metropolitan setting blending urban landscapes with fantasy elements. The expansion features various districts, including City Center, Wandering Straits, Old Towne Hyperia, and the Marigold District.
For the first time, the collection will include characters from the Pixar film Coco, such as Miguel. Other featured properties include Big Hero 6 and various Disney Princesses and Mickey Mouse. The setting also includes the Multidisciplinary Academy for Genius, Imagination, and Creativity (M.A.G.I.C.).
A new gameplay mechanic called ‘ink drops’ will be introduced. This system uses counters to provide a single unit of ink that can be used to play cards from the hand or alter the effects of other cards.
The collection is scheduled for a pre-release on October 16 at specialized stores and select Disney locations, followed by a general release on October 23.
