Disney+ price hike makes it Brazil's most expensive streaming service

Disney+ announced a subscription price increase in Brazil, raising all three plans by up to about 7%. The Premium plan now costs R$ 69.90 per month (up from R$ 66.90), the Standard plan R$ 49.90 (up from R$ 46.90) and the ad‑supported plan R$ 29.99 (up from R$ 27.99). Annual‑commitment options were also adjusted, offering a discounted monthly equivalent of R$ 48.99 for Premium and R$ 33.99 for Standard.

The new rates place Disney+ at the top of Brazil’s streaming price rankings, surpassing the most expensive tiers of Netflix, HBO Max, Globoplay, Apple TV+ and Amazon Prime Video. The increase is effective immediately for new subscribers, while existing customers will see the adjustment on their next billing cycle. This is Disney+’s first price change since June 2025.
