Disney refurbishes Tower of Terror at Hollywood Studios

The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror at Disney’s Hollywood Studios is undergoing an extensive exterior refurbishment. The project, which has been progressing since early May, has entered a new phase involving significant scaffolding and repainting.

As of early September, scaffolding has expanded across the tower structure, covering much of the facade above the attraction’s sign and reaching the corner section adjacent to the shaft. Additionally, crews have erected new scaffolding on the right side of the building.

Repainting efforts are also advancing, with a new gray finish becoming increasingly visible on the balcony and chimney stack sections. The attraction has remained a popular fixture at the Walt Disney World Resort since its opening in 1994.
