Disney+ releases essential Marvel viewing list for ‘Avengers: Doomsday’

Disney+ has released an official list of 15 movies and shows deemed essential viewing ahead of the release of ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ this winter. The upcoming film features Robert Downey Jr. returning to the Marvel Cinematic Universe in the role of Doctor Doom.

The recommended viewing list includes foundational films such as ‘X-Men’, ‘X2’, ‘Captain America: The First Avenger’, and the original ‘Avengers’ trilogy, including ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ and ‘Avengers: Endgame’.

To prepare for the Multiverse Saga, the list highlights ‘Loki’, ‘Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness’, and ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ as key entries for understanding alternate timelines and realities. Other recommended titles include ‘Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings’, ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’, ‘Captain America: Brave New World’, ‘Thunderbolts’, and ‘The Fantastic Four’.
