Disney releases live‑action ‘Moana’ in Chilean cinemas and launches Cinépolis promotion in Mexico
Disney's live‑action adaptation of the animated hit ‘Moana’ has opened in Chilean theaters. The film stars Catherine Lagaʻaia as the titular navigator and Dwayne Johnson as the demigod Maui, and follows the original storyline of restoring the heart of Te Fiti to save her island.
In Mexico, cinema chain Cinépolis introduced a limited‑edition 3‑D promotional glass featuring Moana and Maui. The item, priced at MXN 230 and sold exclusively to Club Cinépolis members, became available on 8 July 2026 with a one‑per‑member limit, and a general sale began the following day. Tickets for the film are already on sale through Cinépolis platforms.
