Disney Removes Muppets-Themed Offerings from Hollywood Studios

Disney announced the immediate removal of a recently introduced Muppets-themed addition at its Hollywood Studios theme park. The change includes the withdrawal of novelty Muppet Labs‑inspired cups that were sold with the park’s Pink Le‑Moi‑nade and Pond Water Limeade drinks. Staff reported that the cups were taken off sale at 5:30 p.m. on August 1, despite earlier statements that they would be available only while supplies lasted.

The attraction itself, the Rock ’n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets, remains open, but the associated merchandise lineup has been reduced. Other Muppet items such as plush keychains, clothing, and necklaces continue to be sold at the Rock Around the Shop location. Disney has not provided an explanation for the abrupt pull‑back and has not issued a recall notice for the removed cups.
