Disney reopens Vacation Fun animated short at Hollywood Studios

The animated short Vacation Fun, featuring Mickey and Minnie Mouse, has reopened at Disney’s Hollywood Studios after a closure lasting nearly two months. The attraction officially returned to guests on September 27.

The show has experienced an unusual year, closing twice for reasons unrelated to maintenance or refurbishment. An initial closure was used for a May the 4th merchandise pop-up, and a subsequent closure starting August 9 was utilized as a pickup location for Annual Passholder merchandise.

While not a major headline attraction, the ten-minute short has developed a loyal following among park visitors, who often use the theater as a shaded, air-conditioned space to rest during the day.
