Disney replaces Disneyland macaroni and cheese with Kraft products

Disney has implemented a multi-year partnership with Kraft Heinz, resulting in the immediate removal of existing macaroni and cheese products from Disneyland Resort menus. The company is substituting its previous ingredients with Kraft Mac & Cheese varieties, such as Deluxe and White Cheddar, to match the flavor profiles of original dishes. This change includes items like the Mac & Cheese Cones at the Cozy Cone Motel.

In addition to macaroni and cheese, Philadelphia brand cream cheese will replace current cream cheese offerings in recipes and as a standalone spread. Heinz condiment dispensers have also begun appearing at locations such as Smokejumpers Grillin in Disney California Adventure.

The rollout is expected to expand beyond Disneyland to include Walt Disney World and Disney Cruise Line. Physical menus will eventually be updated to note that dishes are “featuring” Kraft, Heinz, or Philadelphia products. The partnership comes as Kraft Heinz seeks to reverse a recent sales decline through increased marketing and sales efforts.
