Disney reveals details and footage for upcoming animated film Hexe

Disney has shared extensive details regarding its upcoming 2026 animated feature, ‘Hexe’ (Enfeitiçadas: Bem-vindos a Hexe). During the View Conference in Turin, Italy, producer Yvett Merino presented over 30 minutes of footage and animation tests, providing insight into the film’s characters, villains, and magical world mechanics.

The story follows 16-year-old Billie Doe, who discovers she possesses magical powers and enters a secret realm of witches. The film features a unique opening sequence created with traditional 2D animation by artist Tyler Pacana, utilizing a storybook visual style that contrasts with the primary computer-animated segments of the film.

Merino confirmed that the production is nearing completion, with final post-production work expected to conclude this week.
