Disney reveals details for new Tropical Americas land at Animal Kingdom

Disney has confirmed official names and story details for the new Tropical Americas land at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, which is set to replace DinoLand U.S.A. The announcement was made during the Horizons: Disney Experiences Showcase at the D23 Expo.

The land will feature three attractions, with two serving as headliners: Antonio’s Fiesta de Encanto and Indiana Jones and the Myth of the Jade Serpent. Antonio’s Fiesta de Encanto will allow guests to experience Casita and a rainforest-themed version of Antonio Madrigal’s room, featuring the film’s original voice cast. This attraction will have no height requirement.

The second headliner, Indiana Jones and the Myth of the Jade Serpent, will occupy the footprint previously held by the DINOSAUR attraction. The ride follows Indiana Jones into a hidden passage within an ancient temple that leads to the Mayan underworld. The experience includes an escape sequence involving bats, scorpions, fire, and snakes, culminating in a confrontation with a mythological creature named Tsukán. The third confirmed attraction is El Carrusel de los Animalitos.
