Disney reveals first look at ‘Ice Age: Boiling Point’ at D23

Disney has provided an exclusive first look at ‘Ice Age: Boiling Point’ during the D23 fan event. Actors Queen Latifah and Denis Leary appeared on stage to preview the upcoming film, which is scheduled for theatrical release on February 5, 2027.

The new installment features the return of original voice cast members, including Ray Romano, John Leguizamo, and Simon Pegg. The plot follows the franchise’s central characters—Manny, Sid, Diego, Ellie, Buck, and Scrat—as they explore new areas of the ‘Lost World,’ an underground dinosaur realm characterized by lava and prehistoric creatures.

Disney also revealed a new character: a ‘Jurassic-sized’ prehistoric version of the squirrel Scrat. This marks the first theatrical entry in the franchise since 2016 and the first produced without Blue Sky Studios.
