Disney reveals Frozen 3 teaser and release date

Disney has released a teaser and first images for Frozen 3 during the D23 convention, providing a glimpse into the next chapter of the Arendelle saga. The upcoming film is scheduled for release on November 25, 2027.

Key plot elements revealed include the long-awaited marriage of Anna and Kristoff. However, the celebration is expected to be disrupted by a new, mysterious villain possessing ice powers similar to Elsa’s. The teaser also introduces Samantha, a new companion for Olaf, and shows Elsa embarking on a journey related to a magical phenomenon.

The Frozen franchise remains a major pillar for Disney, with the first film and its 2019 sequel both earning over $1.3 billion at the global box office. In addition to the announcement of the third installment, Disney confirmed that work is already underway on Frozen 4.
