Disney reveals Villains Land plans for Magic Kingdom
Disney has revealed details for Villains Land at Magic Kingdom, a massive expansion comparable in scale to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. The new land will feature themed restaurants, shops, and two major attractions. One attraction is a roller coaster centered on Maleficent, while the second will involve a journey through the Mirror Realm beneath the Evil Queen’s palace.
While specific details were shared during D23, Disney has not provided an official opening date. Based on current construction schedules, including the development of Piston Peak National Park, 2029 is considered the earliest possible opening year for Villains Land.
