Disney+ Descendants Will Trent July 2026 releases Walt Disney documentary

Disney+ announced its weekly slate for 13‑19 July 2026, highlighting the world premiere of the fifth Descendants film, *Descendants: Wicked Wonderland* (released on Disney Channel 16 July and on Disney+ 17 July). The platform also debuts the fourth season of the crime drama *Will Trent: Special Agent* on 15 July, featuring the return of serial killer James Ulster and new personal storylines for the lead detective.

Additional entries include a new episode of *X‑Men ’97* (season 2, episode 5), the Korean series *The Husband* (episodes 5‑6), and upcoming anime titles such as *Naruto* season 4 and *The Rising of the Shield Hero* season 1. Sports coverage will feature the 2026 FIFA World Cup among other events.

Separately, the PBS documentary series *The Kingdom of Walt Disney* aired its third episode on Curta on 15 July, examining Walt Disney’s role in Cold‑War era anti‑communist blacklists and the early development of Disneyland.
