Disney+ service outage disrupts thousands of Brazilian users on June 18, 2026

On the evening of Thursday, 18 June 2026, Disney+ experienced a widespread service disruption in Brazil. Users reported login failures, error messages such as “code 9” and “error 1026”, and an inability to access their accounts. Downdetector recorded more than 19,000 complaints by 20:40 BRT, with roughly 47 % of reports linked to login issues and 36 % to general app problems. Similar spikes were noted on monitoring sites in the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom, though some tools (e.g., UptimeRobot) still showed the domain as reachable, indicating that the outage may have affected specific functions rather than the entire site. Disney+ advised subscribers to reset passwords, restart devices, or wait before retrying, and to contact support if problems persisted.
