Disney+ sets October 30 release for Spanish thriller series “Caldas. El último barco”

Disney+ announced that the six‑episode Spanish thriller series “Caldas. El último barco” will debut on the platform on 30 October. The series adapts Domingo Villar’s bestseller and is produced by Secuoya Studios.

The drama follows inspector Leo Caldas, played by Javier Gutiérrez, and his new aide Estévez, portrayed by Hovik Keuchkerian, as they investigate the disappearance of Monica Andrade, the daughter of a prominent surgeon in Vigo. The plot expands into a web of family secrets, political pressure and media intrigue, aiming to preserve the literary spirit of Villar’s work.
