Disney+ sets September release date for Toy Story 5

Disney+ has announced that Toy Story 5 will premiere on its streaming platform on September 23. The film follows the massive success of its theatrical run, which surpassed $1.1 billion in global box office revenue.

The latest installment in the Pixar franchise explores the tension between traditional toys and modern electronic devices, specifically focusing on a new tablet called Lilypad that changes how the character Bonnie plays.

To coincide with the streaming release, Taylor Swift has released a new animated music video for a piano version of the film's song, ‘I Knew It, I Knew You’. The video is available on Disney+, Spotify, and Apple Music.
