Disney signs content deal with Dhar Mann Studios
The Walt Disney Company has entered into a new original content agreement with Dhar Mann Studios to develop programming for Disney+. The deal includes an initial order of 20 episodes designed for kids, tweens, teens, and families.
Dhar Mann Studios maintains a significant digital presence, boasting over 170 million global followers and approximately 300 million weekly views across various platforms. The studio has previously established distribution partnerships with Fox Entertainment and Samsung TV Plus.
Disney executives Asad Ayaz and Debra O’Connell noted that the studio’s optimistic and relatable storytelling style is expected to connect deeply with Disney fans. Dhar Mann, founder of the studio, expressed that the partnership is personally meaningful due to his lifelong connection to Disney stories.
