Disney+ streams ‘Psycho Killer’ in Brazil on Aug 5

The horror thriller ‘Psycho Killer: Em Busca do Assassino’, produced by 20th Century Studios, a Walt Disney Company division, will become available on Disney+ in Brazil on 5 August. The film skipped a theatrical window in the country and will be released directly on the streaming platform under the Hulu‑branded adult‑content hub, ending a months‑long period of uncertainty for Brazilian audiences.

The movie follows Kansas state patrol officer Georgina Campbell as she hunts the serial killer responsible for her husband’s murder, starring Georgina Campbell, James Preston Rogers, Grace Dove, Logan Miller and Malcolm McDowell. The streaming launch marks the film’s first official distribution in Brazil after its U.S. cinema debut in February.
