Disney raises prices for theme park tickets, passes, and dining

Disney has implemented a series of price increases across its theme park resorts, coinciding with the start of its new fiscal year. At Walt Disney World in Florida, the changes are extensive, affecting theme park tickets, annual passes, and various dining and premium experiences.

One-day peak tickets have risen to $229, while annual passes saw increases ranging from $10 to $120, with the top-tier Incredi-Pass reaching $1,749. Lightning Lane Premier Pass prices also increased, reaching nearly $500 during peak demand. Food and beverage costs have seen hikes, with items like fountain drinks, coffee, and various quick-service meals increasing by 20 cents to $1.00.

At Disneyland Resort in California, the price adjustments are more modest. While some middle-tier one-day tickets and Lightning Lane Multi Pass services saw slight increases, the lowest-tier tickets and Magic Key annual passes remained stable. Additionally, Disneyland announced it is removing the no-show penalty for Magic Key holders, allowing them to cancel or change reservations up until 11:59 p.m. PT on the day of their visit.

Disney Experiences Chairman Thomas Mazloum stated that the company aims to keep guests at the center of decision-making by spreading price increases across different audiences while maintaining stable entry-level pricing for certain tiers.
