Disney World undergoes retail closures and construction at Disney Springs

Walt Disney World Resort is undergoing various operational and infrastructural changes across its properties. At Disney Springs, several retail and dining locations have closed, including the Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill, Sunshine Churros kiosks, and an ‘Enjoy Your Face’ kiosk scheduled for permanent closure on September 26, 2026. Additionally, new construction permits have been filed for the footbridge connecting the Marketplace and Town Center, as well as for several establishments including Paddlefish, Raglan Road, UNIQLO, The LEGO Store, and The BOATHOUSE.

In Disney's Hollywood Studios, a rollout of new, modern trash cans continues, though recent installations have appeared without the themed details typically found at other resort locations. Meanwhile, at Disney Springs, The Edison restaurant has introduced a seasonal Halloween menu and decorations, with a portion of proceeds from specific dessert purchases benefiting Cookies For Kids’ Cancer.
