ESPN to raise streaming subscription prices in September

ESPN is implementing price increases for its direct-to-consumer streaming services, effective September 17, 2026. The adjustments affect both the ESPN Unlimited and ESPN Select tiers, as well as several Disney+ and Hulu bundles.

Under the new pricing, ESPN Unlimited monthly subscriptions will rise from $29.99 to $31.99, with the annual plan increasing from $299.99 to $319.99. The ESPN Select tier, which serves as the successor to ESPN+, will see a monthly increase from $12.99 to $13.99 and an annual increase from $129.99 to $139.99. Certain bundles, such as the ad-supported Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN Select package, will also see price hikes.

This move comes as ESPN expands its content library, including the integration of NFL Network programming and coverage of major sports like the NBA and NFL. Additionally, ESPN has denied reports suggesting it would not renew its $1.6 billion media rights agreement with WWE, which is currently set to run through 2030.
