Disney+ to release new episodes of horror series ‘The Shards’

Disney+ is expanding its horror and drama catalog with the release of new episodes of the series ‘The Shards’ starting August 13, 2026. Set in 1980s Los Angeles, the crime drama follows a character named Bret amidst a city gripped by fear caused by a killer known as ‘Trawler’.

The series is based on a New York Times bestselling novel and is associated with Ryan Murphy.
