Disney+ to release Star Wars film ‘The Mandalorian and Grogu’ on September 2

The Star Wars film ‘The Mandalorian and Grogu’ is scheduled to arrive on Disney+ on September 2. This release follows its theatrical run and digital rental period. The story continues the adventures of the Mandalorian bounty hunter Din Djarin, played by Pedro Pascal, and his young apprentice Grogu.

Directed by Jon Favreau, the production features a cast that includes Sigourney Weaver, Jeremy Allen White, and Martin Scorsese. The plot follows the duo as they navigate challenges posed by scattered Imperial remnants while the New Republic attempts to maintain order in the galaxy.

In addition to the feature film, a ‘LEGO Star Wars: The Mandalorian’ animated special is also set to debut on the streaming platform on the same day.
