Disney+ to release Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu on September 2

Lucasfilm has announced that ‘Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu’ will be available exclusively on Disney+ starting September 2. The film follows Din Djarin, played by Pedro Pascal, and his apprentice Grogu as they navigate a galaxy where the Dark Empire has fallen and the New Republic is establishing order.

The production features a notable cast, including Sigourney Weaver, with voice contributions from Martin Scorsese and Jeremy Allen White. The film is directed and written by Jon Favreau, alongside Dave Filoni and Noah Kloor.

To accompany the release, Disney+ will launch the ‘Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu Official Podcast’ on September 3. The podcast will offer behind-the-scenes insights into the film's creation, featuring interviews with creators and cast members.
