Disney to temporarily close Tiana's Bayou Adventure for refurbishment

Walt Disney World has announced that the Tiana's Bayou Adventure attraction at Magic Kingdom will temporarily close for a routine refurbishment beginning November 2, 2026. The attraction is expected to reopen in December 2026.

In addition to the ride, Tiana's General Store and Critter Co-Op are scheduled to close during this period. This marks the first planned refurbishment for the attraction since its debut in 2024. While Disney describes the project as routine maintenance, the ride has faced various operational challenges since opening, including reliability issues and technical difficulties with audio-animatronics and show effects.
