Kingdom Hearts to host Deep Dive panel at Disney's D23 2026
Disney announced a dedicated "Deep Dive into Kingdom Hearts" panel as part of the D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event, scheduled for August 15 2026 (U.S. time) – August 16 2026 in Japan. The hour‑long session will celebrate the franchise’s 25th anniversary, featuring creators, voice actors and other staff who will discuss how Disney, Pixar and Square Enix have collaborated on the series.
The panel is expected to provide a retrospective of the saga and may include new footage or details about the upcoming Kingdom Hearts IV, which has been in development since its first trailer in June 2026. While no official release date has been confirmed, speculation points to a possible 2027 launch. Disney also highlighted the upcoming Kingdom Hearts Collection I‑III, slated for an October 2026 release on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch 2 and PC.
The event will take place at the Anaheim Convention Center in California, with the panel beginning at 4:30 p.m. Pacific Time (8:30 a.m. Japan time).
