Disney World Considers Retiring Luminous Show, Possibly Reviving IllumiNations

Rumors circulating among Disney fans suggest that Walt Disney World Resort may retire the EPCOT nighttime spectacular Luminous: The Symphony of Us, which debuted in 2023, after only three years of operation. The speculation includes plans to bring back IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth, the iconic show that entertained guests from 1999 until its retirement in 2019.

No official announcement has been made, but the timing of the Disney fan convention D23 in August has fueled further speculation that Disney could reveal a decision about the park’s evening entertainment lineup at that event.
