Disney World introduces reservation-free days and dining availability shifts

Disney World has introduced new updates regarding park access and dining availability for its guests.

Annual Passholders can utilize “Good to Go” days, which allow for park visits without the need for a prior park reservation. The first such day for October is scheduled for Tuesday, October 6. While reservations are typically required for Passholders, they are not necessary on these designated days or when visiting after 2 pm, with some exceptions for Magic Kingdom on weekends.

In dining news, the Diamond Horseshoe in Magic Kingdom is set to reopen on October 4 with a limited-time menu. However, recent booking data suggests significant availability discrepancies based on party size. While reservations for groups of four appear widely available through November, bookings for parties of two are extremely limited, with most dates in October showing no availability. This pattern is attributed to the restaurant's floor plan, which appears optimized for larger shared tables.
