Walt Disney World May Reinstate Disney Springs Bus Restrictions in July

Walt Disney World is considering reinstating a transportation restriction at the Disney Springs bus depot for July 2026. During the Fourth of July holiday period, the resort expects record crowds and plans to limit bus boarding to guests who have a hotel or dining reservation, mirroring a one‑week pilot that ran in April 2026 around Easter. The earlier restriction applied only to the Disney Springs hub, leaving the four theme‑park bus lines unchanged, and was intended to curb casual resort‑hopping and ease congestion.

Disney has not confirmed the July measure, but staff comments indicated the holiday stretch could trigger the policy again. Guests without the required reservation would need to use alternative transport such as the EPCOT ferry, BoardWalk walkways, the Transportation and Ticket Center monorail, or other resort shuttles. The potential change adds another layer of preparation for visitors planning a summer trip to the Florida resort.
